This Saturday, July 8 people! With a very special guest on guitar… Michael Orioles. Mike is a stone killer on guit — this show is one you don’t want to miss! Call the club to reserve a table!

Hello everyone, Just a quick word to say that the band is officially on hiatus thanks to COVID-19. We are just not sure that gigging can be done safely at this time, particularly with a harmonica. We miss you all and wish you the best; we'll be sure to let you know when we will be playing again in the future. Thanks and be well 😊

Hey everybody, unfortunately Harmonica Bill & Marked Deck will be unable to play our show at Big Daddy's this Thursday, but our good friend Kane Daily is going to play... Thanks Kane for helping us out, and people be sure to head down to Big Daddy's for an awesome meal and to hear Kane play the blues!

Here's a clip of one of my solos from the International Blues Challenge back in January. 🙂 For the gear-heads among you, I'm using a G Marine Band harmonica by Joe Spiers, mic is a Turner shell with a black-label CR that my bud Scotty Micciche wired up for me (external VC by BlowsMeAway Productions), and the amp is a MegaTone "Wezo ME-18", wired into a Bassman-sized chassis and set in my Bassman tweed cab. I have a little delay and reverb going, both are Lone Wolf pedals. The custom grille cloth is by Woodshed Stage Arts. I've tagged the providers/suppliers/fabricators of the items below so that you can find them if you wish. I don't know how to make the companies tagged.

Some awesome IBC news, people... Harmonica Bill & Marked Deck are going to do a little featured block of songs at the "Stage 5 Amps Blues Harp Jam" at the Beale Street Tap Room! We'll be playing at the Thursday night edition (the jam runs Wednesday and Thursday nights). The jam band is JD Taylor and Little Boys Blue; he is a pretty badass harp player who is worth checking out. There is going to be some greasy lowdown stuff happening at this jam... lots of great harp-slingers will be in the house.

SUPER MEGA IMPORTANT UPDATES to our Long Island Blues Society event "The Road To Memphis Continues" that will be 01/19/2018 at the Brightwaters Inn... IMPORTANT NEWS! We are lucky to have THE HOODOO LOUNGERS joining us to play cuts from their new album, "Head, Heart, and Hips", which reached the semi-final round of the Blues Foundation's IBC Self-Produced CD competition -- their outstanding album was our Long Island Blues Society submission. This band is literally a party and a half; the album blew me away and I knew we had to get them in front of you all!!!! More details to follow! ************************************************************** ALSO: MORE IMPORTANT NEWS.... THIS EVENT WILL BE A NOMINATION MEETING FOR THE LONG ISLAND BLUES SOCIETY!!!! This means that during the whole event, LIBS members are encouraged to submit nominations for the Presidency and other open board member positions. At 1:30, the LIBS will officially "open" the meeting and it will not close until the end of the event. We will be sure to let you know exactly the best way to submit your nominations... stay tuned!!!! :)

Hey everybody, after recovering from New Year's Eve debauchery, come and relax and have a great meal at Big Daddy's on Thursday, January 3. Harmonica Bill & Marked Deck will be playing some lowdown Chicago blues from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. The food's great and you don't want to miss this show. It's a great way to have an awesome meal, hear some great down-home blues, and still get to bed at a decent hour. See you there!
